Action plan for the timebound delivery of the pending flats in Noida is prepared and will be shared today, CEO of Noida authority Alok Tandon, said on Wednesday, he also added that development body is compiling all the reports sent by the developers.
The GNIDA, Greater Noida authority submitted its action plan on Tuesday evening, Yamuna Expressway authority (YEIDA) will submit the report by next Monday.
We are yet to finalise the flat delivery action plan. Chairman will review all the reports on Monday and then we will send it further. We have somewhere around 6,000 flats which are scheduled for the delivery
said the special duty officer Shailendra Bhatia with the (YEIDA) Yamuna Expressway industrial development authority.
Noida CEO, Alok Tondon said that the authority is now compiling the plans submitted by the builders.
Some builders had submitted their flat delivery plan by Tuesday and the remaining builders submitted their plans on Wednesday. We are right now compiling action plan of the builders. We will submit the same to the government by the evening of Thursday. The report will contain all the details of developers responsible, number of flats to be delivered and when
Said Alok Tondon.
The developers who submitted their plan on Tuesday, assured the delivery of 28000 flats in next 2-3 months, as per the officials.
GNIDA CEO Debasish Panda assured complete cooperation to the builders for the speedy delivery of the incomplete flats, but put onus on builders.
We have an open house to address issues of each and every builder seeking an occupancy certificate from us; we will help builders expedite delivery. But ultimately builders are the one who need to complete their projects. If they will submit all the necessary documents soon and give all the basic facilities in the towers, flats can be delivered even before the deadline
Said Debasish Panda.
According to Greater Noida authority’s report, 21,563 flats in 29 residential projects will be hand over to the buyers by March, 2018 end. GNIDA promises 7460 flats by the end of October, 5334 flats by December end, and 8769 by March 2018 end.
Action plan states that the delivery of the flats is subject to the builders’ compliance with the dates given by them.
The officials also expressed their doubt over the builders sticking to their deadlines. Delivery of 50,000 flats in two months is very close to impossible as they have not even developed the basic facilities such as the roads, water supply connections, community centres, elevators etc.
“Flats can’t be delivered until the developers get funds to finish the services. The builders, who have made the promises, are not involved with the stuck housing projects” added Noida authority official.
CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India) has assured the chief minister Yogi Adityanath that they will ensure the delivery of the possession of 50,000 pending flats in next 2 months.
CM Yogi Adityanath, on September 12 directed the top officials of the Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway authority to deliver 50,000 flats in next two months.
