Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) met builders of 31 ongoing housing projects in the city on Friday, to expedite completion of their residential projects. According to the officials, 5 developers have promised to completely finish their projects and apply for completion certificates in GNIDA so that 2500 homebuyers can get the possession of their flats within a week’s time.
Another 25 projects’ developers have asked for 20-60 days time from GNIDA for providing a timeline for completing their projects. These projects will provide residence to another 14,500 home buyers.
Developers of these projects have asked for different time frames for submitting their road maps for completion, While some need 20 days others have asked for two months. We’ll review these projects again on October 10
Said an official from GNIDA. The official also added that the 5 projects which are to be completed within a week, include projects of Jyotirmay, Habitech, Earthcon, Ajnara and Nirala.
Few days back, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi AdityaNath directed the builders with pending projects in Noida and Greater Noida to complete and deliver the possession of 50000 flats to the homebuyers. After that, the authorities summoned all the builders of the 70 ongoing projects in both the cities. GNIDA held the meeting on Friday, while Noida Authority is going to hold the meeting on Saturday i.e. September 16. Builders have been asked to come up with a road map for completion and delivery timeline along with the number of flats to be handed over.
